A Finance Analyst is needed to join our clients Accounting & Finance team to be based in Leeds on a hybrid working basis.

Description
As Finance Analyst, your duties will include:
- Financial and statistical analysis of performance data, to assist with strategic business decision making
- Involvement in the production of regular corporate reporting
- Proactively support month end accounting process by analysing, reviewing and investigating actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year
- Provide timely ongoing revenue/cost trends by analysis of appropriate data
- Assist in the production of monthly operational forecast, including in depth liaison with other departments
- Assisting in annual budget setting and work centre analysis
- Provide regular reporting and insights to management on business performance
- Ad hoc support to wider finance and operational team
Profile
A successful 'Finance Analyst' should have:
- A background in Finance, happy to consider QBE as well as qual accountants
- Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of statistical software and financial databases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
