SEMH Teacher

SEMH Teacher required for an excellent Birmingham SEMH School in Birmingham. The Education Network is delighted to be working in partnership with this outstanding SEMH that require a teacher with prior SEMH experience to provide general or subject specific cover. A successful SEMH teacher for this school will have prior experience managing classroom behaviours and understand the reasons behind the behaviour. The experienced team of teachers and teaching assistants have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to student progress and wellbeing.

As an SEMH Teacher you will be teaching small classes of no kore than 12 students and will receive excellent support from teaching assistants and behaviour mentors. This school supports some of the most vulnerable and disengaged young people in the area and is looking for an SEMH Teacher who is determined to have a positive impact on the lives of the children that they teach.

Job Role:

  • Teaching children with SEMH needs
  • Tailoring lessons to suit needs of individual students
  • Making lessons engaging, interactive and informative
  • Effectively managing classroom behaviours with the support for TA's
