Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Maidstone, Kent and surrounding areas
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Salary: £12.90 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our site cleaning teams across 11 buildings in Kent. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained while assisting in the management of waste, pest, and landscaping services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise cleaning teams to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Organize staff to meet work schedules and priorities.
- Provide instruction on the safe use of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
- Motivate and lead the cleaning team to consistently achieve high standards.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management, ensuring excellent customer care.
- Participate in training and development of team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
- Experience in industry/public cleaning services.
- Previous supervisory experience in cleaning teams across multiple locations.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Strong understanding of health and safety principles.
- Ability to motivate and organize a cleaning team.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills.
- Physically fit to perform cleaning tasks.
- Team player with a willingness to share knowledge.
