About the Role:

As the new QHSE Manager, you will be crucial in coordinating and enhancing quality, safety, health, and environmental initiatives. This position is central to ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, while driving continuous improvement in event production and equipment handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems (ISO 9001), conduct inspections, monitor quality metrics, and manage supplier quality.
  • Safety Management: Implement health & safety processes (ISO 45001), conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, and provide safety training.
  • Environmental Management: Maintain an environmental management system (ISO 14001), monitor environmental performance, and implement impact reduction initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws and standards, develop compliance programs, collaborate with stakeholders, and represent the company in audits.
  • Training and Communication: Develop and deliver QSHE training programs, communicate policies and best practices, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain QHSE records, prepare performance reports, and ensure regulatory compliance in reporting.

The Ideal Candidate:

They are looking for someone enthusiastic about QHSE with a proven track record in managing these areas, particularly in the events or entertainment industry. You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, Quality Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
  • Experience in QHSE management systems, preferably in events or entertainment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
