HR Manager

HR Manager opportunity available working for a leading manufacturing organisation based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This is a full-time permanent role working from their Wakefield office with some flexibility to work from home occasionally as and when needed.

The HR Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and supervision of all HR activities and its organisation. The role will foster a culture of service excellence, to include development, deployment and implementation of HR processes, policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for managing the HR function and team.
  • Develop and execute the overall HR strategy.
  • Establish HR objectives & plans and communicate them effectively.
  • Implement HR standards and methodology.
  • Assure the right HR organisation size is in place by developing the right vision for the organisation.
  • Assure job positions are filled in effectively by securing a smooth retention and hiring process.
  • Actively support the organisation by dealing with day-to-day activities, people's matters, ensuring execution of planned and effective process and HR project execution, enforcing, sharing, and implementing of best practices.
  • Overseeing and managing the HR activities of the HR team, ensuring the use of the company's best-practices.
  • Manage knowledge sharing, collaboration, and proper communication with the main stakeholders.
  • Prepare and lead negotiations for hiring and dismissing resources.
  • Assure an effective HR weekly meeting.
  • Close and regular alignment with the SMT.

Salary and Benefits include:

  • Salary is up to circa £65k DOE (potential flex on this)
