Trainee IFA

£30-35,000 + bonus potential
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established, successful and forward-thinking IFA practice for a dedicated individual looking for a fast-track role into becoming an IFA.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Shadowing business owner and other IFAs within the firm whilst training
- Paraplanning and technical support until CAS status achieved
- Supporting with research, reports and recommendations
- Attending meetings
- Completing CII Diploma in Financial Planning with full support of the company
- Acquiring CAS status to be able to advise clients
- Servicing the firms existing clients, dealing with new leads and business development
- Giving advice on life, pensions and investments to mostly individuals, some SMEs at all levels
Candidate criteria
- Experience of working within financial services, preferably IFA sector
- Desire to progress towards being an IFA
- Ideally completed Diploma in Level 4 (regulated financial planning) - the client will consider somebody that is 1 or 2 papers away from completion
- Confident communicator
- Ambitious team player

- Farnham based; hybrid set up
- Monday - Friday, 9-5.30
