We have an exciting opportunity available for Floor Managers to join our growing team at Montirex, an outdoor sports performance brand based in Liverpool. You will work as part of the pop-up retail store team, assisting in providing the best-in-class customer experience and ensuring the store looks presentable.

*Please note, due to this being a pop-up store, this is a Temporary contract*

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The role of the Floor Manager is to assist the management team in delivering the Montirex promise by leading the sales team. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) by creating an exceptional shopping experience through positive leadership.

Sales:

  • Demonstrates the ability to consistently follow the Montirex promise.
  • Lead the customer experience by having a proven track record of developing long-standing customer relationships.
  • Has a clear understanding of what is expected Sales Assistant and can manage the team into delivering excellent service.
  • Competent in completing sales transactions accurately.
  • Accept returns professionally whilst offering exchanges or alternatives where possible.
  • Ensures the store delivers excellent customer service, from beginning to the point of sale.

Product:

  • Has a clear understanding of how categories should flow in store.
  • Assists the management team with ensuring product is placed to reflect best sellers.
  • Ensures visual merchandising is efficiently carried out throughout the whole team.
  • Coaches and trains team members into understanding; technologies, fit and merchandising.
  • Promotes product opportunities through seasonal and market trends.
  • Creates excitement and shows passion for the product and encourage the team.

Operations:

  • Maintains proper inventory controls, assists with stocktake and takes measures to ensure stockloss is prevented.
  • Ensures verification of safe floats is correct.
  • Enforces policies and procedures throughout the team to protect the brand.
  • Leads by example and encourages others to perform at their optimal level.
  • Completes daily planner for the store.
  • Ensures the store is safely secure i.e. doors locked, safe locked and alarms set.
  • Opening/Closing checklist to be followed.

Supervisory responsibilities:

  • This is a management position and therefore, has the responsibility of keys for the store.
  • Assumes responsibility of the store in the absence of the Store Manager & Assistant Manager.
  • Successfully executes company objectives under the direction of the management team.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude to support the brands objectives.
  • Responsibility of opening/closing the store.
  • Managing conflict, respectfully and calmly between colleagues/customers.
  • Portrays a positive role model figure for the store colleagues to follow.

Job requirements:

  • Demonstrate positive leadership and management experience.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to always execute the brand values.
  • Consistently deliver high level work.

Physical demand and work environment:

  • You will be required to be on your feet throughout your shift.
  • You will be required to constantly communicate with customers and team members.
