Job Duties:
- Assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Maintaining a clean and organised store environment
- Stocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Calling local trade businesses to upsell stock
- Mixing paint to order
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling
Experience:
Prior retail experience is preferred but not required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practises
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced retail environment
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Weekend and evening shifts may be required
