The opportunity...

Nigel Wright is recruiting for a new PA to the Group MD for a leading Manufacturing organisation based in South Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity for an experienced PA looking for their next challenge.

Full Time Office Based

Rotherham

£40,000-£50,000 (depending on level of experience)

The role...

This role requires an extremely organised, professional and proactive PA. It is a critical role which ensures the smooth operation of the Director office, liaising with Senior Directors, Board Members and Stakeholders on a daily basis. You will provide a high level of support to enable the Group MD's effective running for the organisation. Some of the key daily duties will include:

  • Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, organising conferences, preparing agendas.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation.
  • Act as point of contact between MD and both internal/external stakeholders.
  • Screen and manage phone calls, prioritising emails and responding to urgent matters.
  • Prepare, edit and proof read documents, reports or presentations for external distribution.
  • Assist in the planning of company events both UK and Globally.

What we are looking for?

The right person for this role will possess exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work on their own initiative to prioritise a busy workload. Some of the skills and experience we are looking for is:

  • Proven experience within a PA role at Director level
  • Experience within the manufacturing or similar industry would be needed
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Confident working on own initiative to prioritise work but still work well as part of the wider team.
  • Able to co-ordinate projects and events.
  • Experience of short hand and audio typing
  • Resilience to overcome challenges and provide excellent customer service
