Description
The key responsibilities of a Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting and finance department.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis.
- Develop, implement and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide financial advice to management for decision making.
- Manage financial risk and audit processes.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Public Sector and Government OR Not for Profit and Charities background.
- Ability to commute to Manchester.
- Part qualified or relevant experience.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills.
