First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for an NDT Technician to join an international oil and gas company in the Edinburgh region.
What's on Offer:

A contract position for 4-6 months.

A £20-25/hr basic rate.

A 37.5hr work week.

Shifts consist of:

6:30am to 3pm Mon to Thurs

6:30am to 12pm Fri
This role will require you to conduct various methods of testing of welds in pipe and plate components.
Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
The successful candidate must:
- Be a time served engineer qualified to a minimal PCN level 2 (or ISO 9712) in MUT, MPI and LPI.
- Be competent in manual ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle inspection and liquid penetrant inspection.
- Experience in MUT forgings, tees, nodes and nozzles.
- Have their own reliable transport.
