Method Resourcing have partnered with a leading name in the Specialist Insurance space to hire a Data Engineer. We are looking for a Data Engineer to joined their team to work on their ever growing decision system based in Databricks.
You will be responsible for developing the infrastructure that is needed to help scale this Databricks platform, developed using a Medallion architecture by developing ETL pipelines to support the ingestion of data from various source systems.
We are looking for a Data Engineer with experience in a majority of the following:
- Expertise in Python and SQL (T-SQL ideally) are a must
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks in an Azure environment will be vital for this role
- Previous experience with PowerBI is desirable
- You will need to be able to communicate confidently and clearly with senior stakeholders
The role is paying up to £66,000 + a 15% bonus, as well as benefits. We are offering this role on a hybrid model, with an expectation to be in the office for 1-2 days a week.
