The Role
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, driving the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. You'll work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights, manage budgets, and contribute to the company's ambitious growth plans. This is an excellent role for a proactive finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced SME environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing insights and analysis for senior leadership
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and accounting standards
  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities, providing clear, actionable insights to support strategic initiatives
  • Improve internal controls and processes to enhance efficiency within the finance function
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and contribute to the company's growth initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong experience in a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally within an SME
  • Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Salary and Package

  • £55,000 - £65,000
