Global Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the company's containerized shipments from various global locations.
- Liaise with customs agents and a full load haulier network to ensure prompt customs clearance and timely delivery to warehouses and customers.
- Process shipping invoices and monitor logistics related costs.
- Review and verify shipping documents, maintaining communication with suppliers and customers worldwide.
- Ensure the company secures the best prices and services from shipping lines, customs agents, hauliers, and warehouses.
- Arrange FOB and FCA shipment bookings with shipping lines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a global logistics or import-export role.
- Comprehensive understanding of import and export procedures within the UK and EU.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Multilingual candidates will have a distinct advantage.
- Degree educated.
- Familiarity with UK customs clearance processes.
