We are looking for a skilled CNC Turner Programmer to join an established team in Leatherhead. The role demands expertise in both CNC programming and machining operations, with a focus on producing precise components to drawing specifications. You will need a strong background in CNC Turning and this is an opportunity to grow and develop.
Responsibilities Include
Program, set and run twin spindle multi axis lathes and support R&D with prototyping and development.
Using Alpha Cam software to develop and optimize multi axis lathe programs.
Proving out programs and first off inspection.
Setting up lathes including loading materials, fixtures, and tools, and calibrate machine settings.
Experience & Skills
Knowledge of Fanuc control machines.
Knowledge of data base management software such as Cimco or equivalent.
Experience of multi axis cnc lathes with live tooling.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with Licom, Alpha Cam or equivalent software and SolidWorks CAD software.
Good knowledge of manufacturing process improvements.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 7.30am-3.30pm (Flexible)
