Warehouse Operative required by a leading provider of Satellite Communications. Our client have a global presence including offices in 10 countries and have 250 staff globally. Our client are debt free, in a financially strong position and continue to grow their operations further. This role will involve the Warehouse Operative being responsible for goods that come in from a number of different destinations and also being responsible for goods to be dispatched to different destinations.
Some of the key tasks will involve: maintaining Good Inwards/Outwards procedure, understanding correct documentation for processing good inwards, packing lists, despatch notes, proforma invoices and keeping filing up to date, Using Excel to maintain accuracy of tracked items and updating warranties, Operating Counter Balance Forklift Truck for loading/unloading/removals, Operate the Scissor Lift to access high level storage or heaters etc, Maintain rubbish free building, adhere to Health and Safety standards, Maintain Stock Levels, Being a point of contact for other stores.
The essential skills and experience are:
- 5 years work experience in a Warehouse
- Experience operating Forklift Trucks and Scissor Lift
- Must have good numeracy and literacy skills and Warehouse administration skills.
- Computer Literate with good Excel skills
- Ability to pick up and learn new skills.
