Description
Reporting to the Financial Director as a Finance Manager you will be responsible;
- Maintain and control the day to day accounting function for the company, working with the Financial Director preparing accounts to Trial Balance.
- Assist the Financial Director with the preparation of the annual budget/quarterly forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of management information when requested, including the generation of reports to support day to day decision making.
- Responsible for the month end process, Overhead Accruals, Prepayments, and WIP etc.
- To oversee and improve cost reporting and provide support to accounts staff involved.
- To oversee the annual audit process, inclusive of initial planning, preparation of audit pack, managing field-based element of audit and attend close out to discuss issues identified in audit findings document.
- To assist the Financial Director with the continued development of the accounting software to enable enhanced reporting of management information.
- To ensure a high standard of internal control with respect to all systems and processes
- Provide assistance for ad hoc reporting purposes, including requests made by other departments in the business and annual audits and returns.
Profile
The successful Applicant will
- Ideally working towards an accounting qualification ACCA/CIMA or QBE
- Knowledge and experience of accounting functions and international controls
- Capable of managing own workload and a team
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel such as Vlookups or Pivot tables
- A team player

- Annual salary ranging from £35,000 to £42,000 based on experience
