Our lovely clients who are based in Brockley are looking for an experienced and confident all-rounder Housekeeper to assist with all housekeeping duties in their lovely family home. The family are looking to hire someone on a part-time basis so ideally the candidate should be based in the area already.
Daily duties will include, a high standard of cleaning in all areas of the home, laundry duties, unpacking groceries and deliveries, as well as allergy friendly healthy meal prep. You should be house-proud, work quickly but to a high standard and be able to take initiative to get the job done. Responsible for the overall cleanliness, organisation and upkeep of the property, you will have an excellent eye for detail and be flexible and open to other ad hoc duties as required.
The family value longevity and are looking to appoint someone on a long-term basis, so the ideal candidate should have prior longevity in a similar role and be like-minded. You should be well presented, professional and discreet, having good communication skills is essential for this role. The family are looking to get a pet, so the ideal candidate would need to be pet friendly.
The family are looking for a housekeeper who can work 12 hours per week, preferably Monday 9am-1pm, Wednesday 1pm-5pm and Friday 9am-1pm. The Family are willing to take a flexible approach to working hours for the right candidate.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- General cleaning, upkeep and organisation of all bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas in the home
- Laundry management and ironing, including caring for fine fabrics
- Allergy friendly healthy meal prep
- Unpacking groceries
- Ad hoc duties as required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Prior housekeeping experience and proven longevity
- Confident in meal preparation
- Fluency in spoken English
- Hardworking and dedicated
- Good time management and good communication
- Self-motivated and able to work alone
- High attention to detail and exacting standards
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Eligibility to work in the UK
