KS1 Teacher with SENCo

Are you a SENCo looking for a permanent, Key Stage One position within a small infant school?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a Primary SENCo to fulfil a permanent, full time role within a local Primary School to Farnborough.

The school is a very happy place to learn, work and play, and sets high standards for both staff and pupils working in partnership with parents to ensure that the first three years of school is an exciting and enjoyable experience. The school is located on beautiful grounds with a school field and an outdoor walk-way, where outdoor learning takes place.

The school are seeking a passionate teaching professional who is looking to gain accreditation as a SENCo or is already qualified for a full time position starting in September. The role would be based on two days SENCo and three days teaching responsibilities.

As the SENCo, you will be/have:

- A desire to continue to develop your leadership skills

- Committed and innovative with a strong focus on inclusive teaching

- Positive and pro-active towards improving outcomes for pupils with SEND

- Expertise in supporting the wider team to be inclusive practitioners

The salary for this role is currently set at £30,000 - £41,333 per annum (MPR) +TLR.

For this role, you will be/need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status with degree in relevant subject
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN as a minimum, but SENCo experience preferred
  • Passion for working with children within a mainstream setting, and keen to make a difference
  • Organised and eager to provide guidance to staff with regards to best practice to support individual needs
