What you will do as the Mechanical Asset Integrity Engineer

  • Contract management: Management of a key pipework inspection contract with external experts.
  • Planning inspections: Arranging inspections as required and managing their execution.
  • Maintaining systems: Ensuring accurate and high-quality record-keeping
  • Interpreting reports: Understanding technical information provided by external parties and putting forward required actions.
  • Contributing to PPM and asset management: Taking responsibility for accurate updating of CMMS and IMS
  • Compliance: ensuring all inspection data is organised as such to support quality and compliance systems
  • Health & Safety: Making sure all external parties have the required documentation, RAMS, and Safe Systems of Work in place.
  • Report writing: Providing periodic reports relating to progress and improvements to assist with decision-making processes.

What skills and experience you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, OR a HNC/HND, with significant pipework/asset integrity experience.
  • Expertise with pressure safety systems (PSSR) / ASME qualification OR asset integrity experience on a COMAH site.
  • Experience in managing external inspection contracts.
  • You will likely have worked as an asset engineer, integrity engineer, reliability engineer, mechanical engineer, inspection engineer or similar.

Working Hours

Flexible start and finish times of 7:30 am-9 am and 4:30 pm-6 pm. 2 pm finish on Fridays.
