Your new company
You will be joining an award-winning specialist patent firm with a global client base ranging from SME's to multinational blue-chip companies. Joining a vibrant and hard-working billing team of 4 as their billing coordinator, working 3 days per week in their Chancey Lane office. This position will sit in the litigation side of the business.
Your new role
- Act as first point of contact for queries and requests
- Organise and distribute monthly billing workload, such as preparation of WIP reports, amending WIP, drafting and finalising bills. Assist paralegals with billing queries
- Manage eBilled clients, including the upload of LEDES files & bills, the onboarding process for new ebilled clients, managing client invoices and client rates, invoice rejections and queries
- Oversee compliance with internal billing procedures
- Manage disbursements
- Produce reports and assist in monitoring of WIP and billed fees
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in legal billing - litigation billing is highly desirable.
- Experience dealing with complex, multi-faceted billing
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to successfully liaise with senior colleagues/partners/stakeholders
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated and driven
