Our client, a manufacturer with a multi-million pound turnover and multiple sites, seek to appoint an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer. You will be working a days' shift. The appointed electrically biased Maintenance Engineer will have good experience of the repair and planned maintenance of automated PLC controlled equipment. You'll be working for a great business with a real family feel and good flexibility for staff. Applications encouraged from candidates from all backgrounds if familiar with automated machinery and possessing an analytical mind for fault finding. Additional profit share bonus paid annually. Maintenance Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Plant, Breakdown, PPM, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Automation

  • Maintenance of heavy industrial plant equipment
  • Liaise with production and quality as required
  • TPM/PPM maintenance. Respond to breakdowns as required
  • Supervision of other maintenance personnel

Maintenance Engineer - Skills and Abilities - Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Plant, Breakdown, PPM, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Automation

  • Mix of old and new equipment on site. Experience of attending to each required
  • Most of the site is automated. Electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and PLC experience preferred
  • Character to lead and take responsibility
  • Will consider mechanical engineers with good electrical skills but ideal candidate is electrically biased
