Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner with our esteemed client, a leading organisation based in Dorset, in their search for a dedicated and detail-oriented Fixed Asset Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the effective management and maintenance of the company's fixed asset records.

As a Fixed Asset Assistant, you will be responsible for the control and maintenance of the property fixed asset registers, as well as other fixed asset record-keeping duties. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all asset-related information within the organisation.

Your responsibilities as the Fixed Asset Assistant will include and not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain the property fixed asset ledgers, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Create monthly depreciation entries for review and processing.
  • Prepare monthly component accrual entries for review and processing.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all fixed assets, for all group companies.
  • Identify any "other" fixed assets for serviced charge purposes.
  • Provide general administrative support related to fixed asset management as required.

To be considered for the role of Fixed Asset Assistant, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a similar, finance related role.
  • Good numeracy, analytical and financial skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
