The Senior Associate in Tax Compliance will be responsible for supporting clients with their Corporate Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting obligations. This role requires a strong understanding of UK tax laws and the ability to analyse complex tax situations.

Description

  • Prepare and complete a wide range of corporation tax computations, including review of computations and assisting clients with queries.
  • Liaise with the Data Team to enable collection and analysis of tax data.
  • Deal with client queries in relation to data requests, including preparation and review of follow up queries and correspondence with appropriate internal and external parties.
  • Prepare corporation tax accounting disclosures, tax payment advice calculations, computations and returns using the firm's standard software.
  • Organise, monitor and manage your own workload on a portfolio of clients.
  • Assist in the development of colleagues.
  • Draft budgets and assist with preparation and negotiations for new or repeat work.

Profile

A successful Senior Associate in Tax Compliance should have:

  • Some experience in UK Corporate Tax and experience preparing UK corporate tax computations and returns.
  • Experience in reviewing Corporate tax returns
  • Have experience of working with a portfolio of clients
  • Preferably hold an accountancy or tax professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ATT, CTA or or an international
  • Strong analytical skills to understand complex tax situations
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
