Accounts Assistant | Credit Control | Permanent
Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a local business in Newtownabbey who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their small team within accounts.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, office based.
Working as part of a team, duties will involve:
- Managing the full credit control function, including invoice and statement runs
- Preparing customer statements using Sage & Excel
- Entering receipts in Sage 50, handling cheques, bank receipts, and processing card payments
- Raising credit notes utilising our CASH system and collecting Direct Debits with Go Cardless
- Addressing customer queries and assisting with the purchase ledger
- General accountancy and administrative duties as required
The Person:
- Experience in credit control and purchase ledger
- Proficiency in Sage and Excel (VLOOKUP skills are desirable)
- Resilience and the ability to manage customer interactions effectively
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically
