Mid Market Account Director
Location: Remote (UK)
Salary: Up to £70,000 base + £7,000 car allowance (OTE £140,000)
Role Overview:
A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a motivated Mid Market Account Director to drive new business within mid-market customers across the UK. This role is perfect for a seasoned sales professional experienced in selling IT services to mid-market clients with 200 to 2,000 users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT reselling or managed services, and a track record of securing new business and developing strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Planning: Develop and implement targeted account capture and development plans for new clients. Design multi-level contact strategies to drive engagement and business growth.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain effective tactical and strategic relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs, regional initiatives, and networks.
- Pipeline Management: Establish and manage a robust pipeline of well-qualified business opportunities. Demonstrate expertise in customer buying criteria and processes.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, assisting in the formation of IT strategies and providing access to senior management and subject matter experts.
- Thought Leadership: Offer proactive insights into technology and industry trends, positioning the company as the preferred partner for innovation and strategic direction.
- ROI Modelling: Develop investment/efficiency ROI models to showcase financial benefits to clients.
- Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with strategic partners and vendors to leverage opportunities and expand networks.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in IT services and solutions sales specifically targeting mid-market customers with 200 to 2,000 users.
- New Business Focus: Demonstrated success in acquiring new business, with a background in IT reselling or IT managed services.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Established relationships with stakeholders in the mid-market sector within the UK.
- Business Development: Skilled in developing and managing multiple business opportunities.
- Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft, Cisco, and AWS solutions.
- Customer Insight: Ability to rapidly gain a comprehensive understanding of customer organizations and their needs.
