The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant early years Nursery. You'll be at the heart of an exceptional team, driving high-quality education, ensuring safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a skilled team of early years practitioners.
- Promote play-based, curriculum-linked activities that stimulate curiosity and learning.
- Build strong partnerships with families and local services to support every child's journey.
- Deliver regular staff training and supervisions.
- Maintain compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding regulations.
- Lead open days, parent visits, and manage daily nursery operations.
- Report regularly to the Trust Executive/Board.
Quality Education Leadership
- Oversee the implementation of the EYFS curriculum.
- Ensure robust, accurate child assessments.
- Support staff in delivering inclusive, engaging learning experiences.
- Promote healthy lifestyles and well-being among children.
- Maintain up-to-date policies, documentation, and standards.
Safeguarding & Health and Safety
- Be responsible for safeguarding and child protection across the nursery.
- Ensure all staff understand and meet safeguarding duties.
- Oversee daily health and safety, risk assessments, and equipment standards.
Communication & Relationships
- Professional, positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
- Clear, respectful communication within the team and with families.
- A culture of openness, feedback, and mutual respect.
What We're Looking For
- A qualified Early Years professional (Level 3 or above)
- Experience in a senior nursery or early year's role
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Deep understanding of child development and EYFS
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development
