What You'll Be Doing
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be providing subject matter expertise to colleagues for control systems in operations, ensuring that the manufacturing infrastructure is maintained.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Scheduling and completing regular maintenance systems, ensuring they are up to date and operating to the appropriate code of practice
- Developing robust infrastructure control systems and building front line capability to ensure routine problem solving is actioned by operations colleagues
- Designing fit for purpose systems and training to build colleague fault finding and enhance the engineering team capabilities
- Collaborating and communicating with engineers and production colleagues when completing project work to enhance production efficiency, effectiveness and operational understanding
- Developing and implementing the required technology to increase reliability and efficiency of machinery by identifying obsolescence and future risks for process and product change
What We're Looking For
As one of our Control Systems Engineers, you will have or be working towards:
- Knowledge of maintenance of engineering systems within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working within a multiskilled engineering environment
- High level engineering skills covering all systems including PLC, SCADA, pneumatics and hydraulics
- Ability to conduct engineering training needs analysis
