Graduate Surveyor

A client within the Public Sector based in South Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a graduate surveyor to join their estates team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to support the Team Leaders and Senior Surveyors in the management of the Council's land and property assets delivering the Council's 5-year disposal programme and the management of the Council's commercial property portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • letting of vacant units/sites
  • assessing the market rent and preparation of particulars
  • carrying out viewings and inspections
  • dealing with enquiries from tenants, purchasers, agents and colleagues in other teams of the Council

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require experience of acquisitions, disposals and/or commercial property management.

The below skills would be beneficial for the role:

  • Aptitude to work independently
  • Take the lead in managing own workload, with appropriate supervision.
  • Ideally experience of working within a local authority.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £20 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
