Bennett and Game are currently working with a global freight forwarder based in Coventry who are actively looking to grow their UK stronghold through the hire of an established Internal Sales Executive.
Our client is a 100 + site strong global player within the freight market meaning you will have a strong operational support team as well as an outstanding brand image and reputation to back up your sales techniques with fantastic worldwide offices to support the freight process from start to finish.
**Internal Sales Executive
Position Overview
Working for a global player and partnering with experienced sales management teams this is a great opportunity to develop within a freight sales capacity.
- Your role will be to generate leads from a warm desk within the UK to International freight markets
- You will sell the companies expansive network of international locations and freight offerings (the company really sells itself)!
- You will support and work closely with senior sales managers / BDMs with large contract wins and negotiations
- Answer inbound queries and speak to potential customers & existing clients providing a top level of customer service at all times
- Update customer information on the internal CRM to present to sales management staff and capitalise on potential revenue streams
**Internal Sales Executive
Position Requirements
- Proven knowledge of the freight market
- Experience selling Road or Ocean freight is highly desirable
- Confidence negotiating deals and prices
- Excellent communications skills (Phone, email and in person)
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft packages and learning internal database)
**Internal Sales Executive
Position Remuneration
- Salary DOE £28-35k
- Commission / bonus structure on top of salary
- Excellent progression to External Sales / BDM Roles
- Monday - Friday (office hours)
- 20 days holiday + bank holiday
