Job Title: Lead Remedial Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands.

West Midlands based Legionella Consultancy with a longstanding team of engineers and risk assessor, are currently looking to recruit a motivated and driven Lead Remedial Engineer. The role will involve a mix of client services, and hands on remedial tasks. Applicants will come from a strong water treatment / legionella background and will be confident in a client facing role, where they use their strong technical knowledge to provide ongoing consultancy advice. Industry qualifications such as the G3 ticket, would be advantageous to the role. However, the client is happy to receive applications from those who are able to demonstrate a varied experience of remedial works.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing.
" Will hold the G3 unvented ticket.
" Experience working as a Lead Remedial / Remedial Engineer for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills, able to work in line with strict guidelines.
" Will be personable and professional with clients and colleagues.
" IT literate.
The Role:
" Deadleg removals.
" Carrying out fault-finding on site, ensuring to rectify any issues in a timely manner.
" Removing, rerouting, and replacing copper and PVC pipework.
" Attending site to check plumbing work, signing off upon completion.
" Carrying out cylinder installations.
" CWST refurbishments and installations.
" Expansion valve installations.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Overseeing and supervising a team of remedial engineers.
" Producing detailed reports upon completion of work.
" Reviewing other colleagues reports prior to sending to clients.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice based on site findings.
" Carrying out training with new and existing clients.
" Presenting Legionella Awareness courses to clients.
" Getting involved in ongoing quality control requirements, maintaining LCA registration.
" Upselling company services to clients.
