IT & Finance Administrator - Birmingham

Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a Property Consultancy based in Birmingham City Centre.

Our client is looking for an IT & Finance Administrator to support both the Finance and IT Teams across the group, pitching in with shared responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

IT:

  • Work closely with the Group's IT service provider for the set up and update of MS Office 365 employee accounts, inclusive of Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Administrate group user licences on MS Office 365, including the management of group distribution lists and forwarder email set-ups.
  • Ad-hoc IT equipment ordering and management.
  • Set up any necessary IT programs and plug-ins, as and when required, throughout the Group.
  • Manage data protection processes, updating policies, and ensuring the Group adheres to regulations.
  • Ad-hoc IT support, as and when required across the IT Team

Finance:

  • Support with financial transactional processing and journal postings.
  • Support the Receivables department with credit control responsibilities, managing aged debt as per agreed terms of business.
  • Ad-hoc accounting support, as and when required across the Finance Team

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in office administration, in a similar level position - essential
  • Solid understanding of Office 365 and other software packages, including the setup and back-end administration - essential
  • A team player, happy to pitch in at all levels needed - essential!
