A leading accountancy brand is offering a key, Assistant Manager level career opportunity in Leicester, a great opportunity to join a leading accountancy brand within the Accountancy focused team and progress to Manager within 12 - 18 months if desired.

The opportunity:

They have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join the Leicester office. They are growing which means there is lots of opportunity to develop and progress with the firm. Your responsibilities:

The core duties of the role are to review accounts, staff management, VAT and management accounts in addition to statutory year-end accounts review, reviewing management accounts done by clients, supporting the management team using IT systems including xero, sage, freeagent, quickbooks, caseware, IRIS etc.

  • Assisting with portfolio management & client work
  • Team Management, Supporting the management team in day-to-day line management, allocation of work, identifying development needs and completing staff reviews and feedback
  • Advisory and ad hoc work, identifying opportunities to offer additional services to clients, identifying new clients through networking and client referrals and coaching team members to do the same
