The role of learning and development manager will take ownership of the training and development for all colleagues. Whilst there is basic training in place for inductions and onboarding, the person who comes into this role will be entrusted to elevate what is used. You will be given full autonomy to bring in your own ideas and there is a healthy L&D budget available to achieve the goals you set. You'll be responsible for owning the content across the existing learning management system and will identify ways to bring new, innovative training courses to complement what is already in place. You will also take ownership for talent development within the existing team and will work with senior stakeholders to drive the agenda for succession planning across the company.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding for how a retail or hospitality environment works as the guest experience is the primary focus for this organisation. It is looking for someone who can tie the training and development strategy to the customer experience, whilst creating engaging training content to achieve this. You'll be working in a highly motivated HR team therefore someone with a strong values around teamwork and collaboration is vital. The existing team is hard working, passionate and want to be the very best in everything they do. They are looking for a like-minded individual to complement the existing team.

In return, the role is paying up to £70,000, depending on experience.
