Michael Page are currently working closely with a waste and renewable business in their search for a Project Engineer from a Chemical background to join the Engineering team to support in future Projects based in Liverpool.

Description
As the Project Engineer your responsibilities are as follows;
- You will be managing your own capital projects from conception and design through to installation, commissioning, and handover, with support of the rest of the engineering team as required.
- You will also be asked to provide technical and engineering support to site operations on occasion.
- You will be required to communicate efficiently to your teams throughout the lifecycle of each Project, ensuring that your projected KPI's, targets and deadlines are documented throughout.
- You will be tasked with delivering projects in line with the businesses Health and Safety commitments, whilst also providing an overview of programme cost and maintaining Quality standards throughout.
- You will be tasked with the identification of plant improvements and leading the improvement projects from design to commissioning in a commercial environment
Profile
The successful Project Engineer should have:
- A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management software tools.
- An understanding of industrial / manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- An adept understanding of Health and Safety adherence.
Job Offer
- £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
