Michael Page are currently working closely with a waste and renewable business in their search for a Project Engineer from a Chemical background to join the Engineering team to support in future Projects based in Liverpool.

They work closely with neighboring companies in order to drive sustainable products and reduce Carbon Footprint. With multiple sites across the UK boasting a workforce of nearly 20,000, they are a business constantly on the look out for exciting talent to add to their ever growing workforce.

Description

As the Project Engineer your responsibilities are as follows;

  • You will be managing your own capital projects from conception and design through to installation, commissioning, and handover, with support of the rest of the engineering team as required.
  • You will also be asked to provide technical and engineering support to site operations on occasion.
  • You will be required to communicate efficiently to your teams throughout the lifecycle of each Project, ensuring that your projected KPI's, targets and deadlines are documented throughout.
  • You will be tasked with delivering projects in line with the businesses Health and Safety commitments, whilst also providing an overview of programme cost and maintaining Quality standards throughout.
  • You will be tasked with the identification of plant improvements and leading the improvement projects from design to commissioning in a commercial environment

Profile

The successful Project Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management software tools.
  • An understanding of industrial / manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • An adept understanding of Health and Safety adherence.

Job Offer

  • £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
