Description
As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as a key contact for leadership teams in terms of management accounting reports, analysis, budget monitoring and scenario planning
- Produce timely, accurate and consistent management accounting reports and associated KPI/dashboards
- Co-ordinate and deliver the month end close down and reconciliations
- Support the Head of Finance in ensuring everyone is consulted, kept informed and can engage fully in the annual budget setting cycle and longer-term financial planning
- Ensure appropriate budgetary sign-off for procurements and monthly approval of payroll
- Provide regular financial reporting, insights and trend analysis
Profile
To be successful for the Finance Business Partner position, you must:
- Accountancy qualification (min Level 4 AAT) with current registration or studying towards level 4
- Educated to degree level or having an equivalent level of practical knowledge
- Post qualification experience working in a Finance role
- High level of IT competence and knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word etc)
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail with financial data
- Ideally, informed knowledge of the education sector and legislative and administrative issues around education finance
- Understanding of and adherence to the need for confidentiality in all written and oral communications
Job Offer
Salary £40,000 - £50,000
