Assembly Fitter
- Annual Salary: £27,000, rising to £28,000 after a successful probation period
- Location: Commutable from Shrewsbury, Telford, Wolverhampton
- Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
- Holidays: 25 days
We are currently seeking an experienced Assembly Fitter to join our team. This role involves assembling complex industrial support machinery within a small team, focusing on low volume but complex builds. The ideal candidate will be familiar with mechanical assembly, using hand tools, and following standard operating procedures to ensure the quality of the final build.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assemble complex industrial support machinery as part of a dedicated team.
- Follow standard operating procedures to establish the quality of the final build.
- Work with colleagues to resolve fitting problems and ensure a correct build.
- Use hand tools and refer to diagrams and machinery manuals to guide the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in complex mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Ability to work from diagrams and machinery manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
