**Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of finance professionals
- Take ownership of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of monthly management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax matters
- Liaise with external auditors, providing required information and ensuring a successful audit process
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
**What We're Looking For:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
