An international creative design company are seeking a Financial Controller/Management Accountant on an initial interim basis until the end of the year. This role can be part time working 4 days a week, outside IR35.
Reporting into the Group Controller, with regular interaction with the CFO, Local MD and Founders, the main responsibilities include:
- Preparation of management accounts, group consolidation and board packs for one business in the UK and US.
- Weekly sales reporting by entity, liaising with local management teams to present outlook to board.
- Working closely with the production departments on project profitability and forecasting.
- Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing the Assistant Management Accountant and Finance Assistant, expanding their knowledge and ensuring robust delivery.
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified with a passion for working in the creative sector.
