Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

Posted by Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited.

Your new company
You will be working for a contractor who believes in providing a unique service to their clients, delivering what they promise, on time, on quality and within budget. They understand that, due to the nature of their business, and the projects they work on, that no two projects are the same. They have a senior leadership team which has pulled the best in the business in terms of experience from other contractors, and they are keen to expand on their ever successful commercial department.

They specialise in creating interesting interiors for colleges, offices, universities, churches and restaurants - with a number of very recognisable names in their client base!
Your new role
You will be joining an established team which has 2 estimators, a managing QS, intermediate QS, Trainee QS and Apprentice QS and you will be responsible for delivering the commercial aspects of an individual project, reporting into the MQS.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be able to provide a CV which details relevant experience for a similar contractor within the UK, and ideally hold a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying. If you have experience of estimating, it will be a huge benefit, although this isn't essential.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience), company car or allowance, bonus and pension.
