We are seeking a Data Analyst to play a crucial role in our company's digital transformation. This position offers the opportunity to work on enhancing business margins through the strategic use of data and digital systems. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in improving our core business processes and will have the potential for rapid career progression, with pathways to advanced roles within the company.

Based in Teesside, this role requires 2-3 days in office per week

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Master and improve end-to-end commercial processes, identifying areas for enhancement and addressing any failures.
  • Hold functional and operational teams accountable for implementing changes and rectifying errors.
  • Focus on tangible outcomes and the improvements that can be made to processes.
  • Conduct monthly KPI reporting to track process successes, failures, and required actions.
  • Monitor process data daily and weekly, engaging directly to resolve challenges related to people, processes, and technology.
  • Test, validate, and document changes to processes and systems.
  • Train commercial, operational, and functional teams in correct operating procedures and provide ad-hoc training as necessary.
  • Directly address data quality issues and collaborate with teams to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to analyse complex situations and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Data-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven experience working with a variety of stakeholders and simplifying complex information for communication.
  • Pragmatic and adaptable, capable of balancing ideal solutions with practical needs.
  • Thrives in a complex, fast-paced, and globally integrated business environment.
  • Skilled in data management, PowerBi reporting, and data transformation processes.
  • Background in Finance, Commercial, Engineering, Construction, Industrial Services, Quantity Surveying, or Project Controls is advantageous.
