Job Description:
As a Support Worker at Sirona Medical, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care and support to individuals with complex needs, including those with cerebral palsy (CP) and epilepsy. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex needs, including CP and epilepsy.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and communication.
- Administer medication and manage epilepsy care as per individual care plans.
- Support clients during hydrotherapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided.
- Foster a supportive and positive environment, promoting independence and well-being.
- Drive clients to appointments, social activities, and therapy sessions as needed.
Essential Competencies and Qualifications:
- Experience in Complex Care: Proven experience working with individuals with complex care needs, specifically those with CP and epilepsy.
- Hydrotherapy Assistance: Ability to assist clients during hydrotherapy sessions.
- Driver: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- English Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
