We are working with a growing MSP in Glocuester who are seeking a Technical Lead in a newly created role. This role will work closely with the Directors taking on the technical ownership for their clients with a real focus on project delivery.
Strong working knowledge of Azure, M365 solutions and Fortinet is needed and you will be involved in pre-sales conversations as well. This is a great opportunity for a strong Project Engineer looking to step up or an experienced Technical Lead looking to get in with an MSP during their early stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Provide expert guidance and support on Windows Server, M365, Azure, and Fortinet solutions.
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of client IT systems.
- Act as a technical point of escalation for complex issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Mentor and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and deliver customised IT solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in IT security, compliance, and data protection.
What Experience do you need?
- Extensive experience in a technical lead role within an MSP environment.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, including installation, configuration, and management.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, including administration and support.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure technologies, including cloud infrastructure, services, and administration.
- Solid understanding of Fortinet products, including firewalls and network security solutions.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex IT projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Certifications, and Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
