A beautiful countryside hotel is looking for a talented Office Administrator to join their team in Reading on a full-time basis.

This is a full-time role comprising 40 hours per week from Monday through Friday. During the Christmas party season, you will be expected to work weekends and evenings while enjoying scenic views!

Applicants must have some knowledge of Outlook email, excel and Word. They are also looking for someone who is confident speaking with clients and has their own transport.

Their permanent marquees are situated within the grounds of the hotel, which allows for glamourous and exclusive entertaining. Their team has over 25 years of experience and makes sure your event is everything you planned it to be and more!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and filtering incoming calls
  • Monitoring the Christmas mailbox
  • Filtering emails
  • Keeping Christmas party listings updated
  • Booking Christmas party tickets via phone and email
  • Invoicing and receipts
  • Assisting the Sales Director
  • Chasing payments
  • General daily admin
  • Assisting the events team at Christmas parties

Required Skills:

  • Applicant must have some knowledge of Outlook email, excel and word
  • They are also looking for someone who is confident speaking with clients and has their own transport
  • Knowledge of office equipment and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work demands
  • Professional and friendly demeanour, with excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of office procedures and best practices
