Short-Term Contract Role - Immediate Start Available

A pioneering Medical Device company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector for a short-term contract role with an immediate start available. This position is based in Oxford and offers the opportunity to contribute to the quality control of components from external suppliers.
Mechanical Inspector - Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect components using standard measurement tools and visual assessment techniques.
- Complete and maintain detailed inspection records.
- Label and update the inventory management system (SAP) for approved components.
- Quarantine and manage non-conforming components using the Non - Conforming Material Control process.
- Assist in organising and reconfiguring the inspection and storage areas.
Mechanical Inspector - Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience in mechanical inspection, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in using standard inspection tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, particularly SAP.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
