Our client is looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their independent consultancy that specialises in building compliance, acoustic design, and assessments for noise and vibration. The successful candidate will work across various sectors such as healthcare, residential, education, hospitality, and many more.
Acoustic Consultant Requirements:
- Relevant Acoustics degree or similar
- Experience in a similar role
- Sound Insulation Testing Qualification
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Member of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) (Desirable)
Acoustic Consultant Duties:
- Noise and vibration assessments
- Sound Insulation Testing
- Prepare and complete technical reports
- Manage projects to ensure they meet building regulations, planning conditions and client specifications
- Site visits
