MIG/TIG Welder required to join a well established engineering business based in the Broadway area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Production Welder that has experience with MIG/TIG welding, working with mainly mild steel.
MIG/TIG Welder Position Overview
- MIG/TIG Welding working with typically mild steel ranging from 3mm - 8mm thickness
- Working in 2 to 3 man teams to weld large steel
- Organise and check kits of parts before proceeding to weld
- Fully weld components and remove splatter ready for inspection
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Look for development opportunities
- Adhere to procedures & Health and Safety standards
MIG/TIG Welder Position Requirements
- Experienced in MIG/TIG welding with the ability to read engineering drawings
- NVQ Level 3 in fabrication & Welding / Plating & Welding desirable
- Ability to work in a team
- Based within a commutable distance of Broadway
MIG/TIG Welder Position Remuneration
- Full time - Permanent
- Salary - £15.00 per hour (Negotiable after 3 month probation)
- Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 17:00
- Overtime available
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
