Sales Assistant | Liverpool Pop up Store | £11.44 per hour + Benefits | 8 Hour Contract

We have an exciting opportunity available for Sales Assistants to join our growing team at Montirex, an outdoor sports performance brand based in Liverpool. You will work as part of the pop-up retail store team, assisting in providing the best-in-class customer experience and ensuring the store looks presentable.

*Please note, due to this being a pop-up store, this is a Temporary contract*

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The role of a Sales Assistant is to assist the management team executing the Montirex mission statement during every shift. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) by creating an exceptional customer experience. Sales Assistants are responsible for engaging with customers and applying knowledge learnt through company training.

Sales:

  • Demonstrate the ability to consistently follow the promise and all company customer service standards.
  • Uses product knowledge to add-on product and close the sale.
  • Displays a positive can-do attitude consistently.
  • Actively engages with customers on the floor through greeting or using open ended questions.
  • Accurately process sales transactions.
  • Accept returns professionally whilst offering exchanges or alternatives where possible.
  • Professionally fold and bag product.

Teamwork:

  • Demonstrates teamwork by working cooperatively with each other.
  • Provides assistance to other team members to work towards the common goal.
  • Cultivates positive relationships with other associates.
  • Represents the brand positively throughout.
  • Resolves differences professionally and respectively.

Product:

  • Retain product knowledge to assist with sales, merchandising and tidying.
  • Passion and understanding of the Montirex brand.

Operations:

  • Assist with replenishment of the floor.
  • Count delivery and store correctly.
  • Clean floor, shelves, till area, staff area and any other housekeeping.
  • Complete store walk around to ensure all sizes are on display, displays are neat and tidy for customers.
  • Complies with company policy and procedures.
  • Completes cash duties when requested i.e. till counts, cash to safe.

Job requirements:

  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Ability to use till systems.

Physical demand and work environment:

  • You will be required to be on your feet throughout your shift.
  • You will be required to constantly communicate with customers and team members.
