Senior Product Manager - KYC/Regulatory compliance sought by leading financial services organisation based in London.

  • *Inside IR35 - 2/3 days a week onsite** - KYC Experience is Essential**

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Product Manager to lead our Know Your Customer (KYC) product line.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing KYC regulatory requirements, liaising with regulators and banks to maintain and enhance the standardized baselines, as well as making a direct impact to product evolution while contributing to defining new business opportunities. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

What to expect:

  • Product management

  • Define and execute the KYC product objectives and ambitions, ensuring alignment with the company level strategy.

  • Manage and enhance the KYC Registry Baseline policy, aligning to the global KYC standards based on regulatory requirements, customer needs, and market trends.

  • Understand customer pain points, consolidate feedback, translate and prioritize business requirements to execution plan.

  • Develop detailed project plans or campaigns, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary to meet agreed goals.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay abreast of global and jurisdictional KYC regulatory requirements and ensure the KYC Registry Baseline complies with all applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Liaise with financial institutions to interpret and implement regulatory changes.

Stakeholder management

  • Collaborate with internal teams (business analyst, engineering, operations, user documentation, communication, business development, and customer support) to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, regulators, and industry working groups, to align on standardized KYC practices and baselines.

Communication

  • Facilitate effective communication across cross-functional teams to ensure product release communication alignment and timely delivery.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse, globally distributed team, respecting and adapting to various cultural norms and time zones to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Present product baseline updates and roadmap to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate customer webinars or workshops to create product awareness, discuss baseline evolution and regulatory changes.

Analytics

  • Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions, track performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement adoption and usage metrics and run relevant reports to create holistic feedback loop and drive effective campaigns.
  • What will make you successful?
  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or equivalent through experience.
  • MBA / Master in Marketing or equivalent is an asset.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in product management with a passion for financial crime compliance and data storytelling.
  • Relevant experience on KYC or related regulatory compliance products.

Required skillset

  • Proven track record of successfully managing KYC products and navigating complex regulatory environments. Strong knowledge of global KYC regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving goals and delivering high-quality products.
  • Great communication skills and ability to deliver key messages to senior management in a precise manner. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to manage and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and conceptual thinking. Organized way of working.
  • Ability to work autonomously, remotely from some colleagues and in an Agile context.
  • Team player mindset. Ability and desire to succeed in a diverse, multi-cultural environment, across varied geographies and teams.
