Salary: £36,000 per annum

Reed Engineering are seeking a Maintenance Planning Engineer responsible for the management of maintenance and materials planning requirements for the world's largest rotorcraft manufacturer. This role involves the production of line and base maintenance work packs, ensuring compliance with the approved maintenance programme, and updating the MIS as required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and material planning requirements.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Liaise with Maintenance Team and other departments to ensure maintenance capability and capacity.
  • Prepare and review maintenance variations and identify provisional maintenance dates.
  • Review material requirements and raise reservations/purchase requisitions for required materials.
  • Raise scheduled maintenance work packs, ensuring materials and documentation are available.
  • Review work packs to minimise aircraft downtimes and ensure all planned maintenance is accomplished before aircraft departure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and material planning requirements related to Part CAMO / A8-25 & Part 145 / A8-23.
  • Methodical with acute attention to detail and a flexible work ethic.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong team leadership and proactive problem-solving skills.

Education, Qualifications or Training:

Desirable: Aviation-related degree or equivalent, aviation human factors training, recognised Part CAMO and Part 145 Training Courses.
